Sequoia Union High School District named in lawsuit over Menlo-Atherton student arrests

SUHSD and M-A VP Nick Muys are now named in a lawsuit over the April 2023 arrest of K.C., a Black special-ed student. The lawsuit alleges SUHSD ignored his IEP, escalated the situation, shared confidential records with police, and failed to de-escalate—continuing a pattern of discrimination.
